In its time, Bohemia Flowers s.r.o. was one of the largest flower delivery companies in Central Europe. Their extenstive website was in Czech, English and Polish. Our contribution to the site included:

• Creating the Customer Care section, including company policies, FAQs, shopping instructions etc.
• Writing, translating and proofreading English and Czech texts.
• Writing, translating and proofreading e-mail campaigns to customers.
• Keyword analysis, search engine optimization consulting.

RedBox.cz

2002, now offline

Originally, RedBox was the first significant project in the Czech Republic providing computer leasing. Using a highly successful marketing campaign, the computers were delivered in a red box – hence the name. Contactel then used this recognition factor to transform RedBox into an internet portal.

At the time we worked for RedBox, it was one of the largest search engine portals,along with Seznam.cz and Volny.cz. However, it lacked a stable concept and clear customer-care system. We provided:

• Usability analysis of the portal, suggesting structural changes and simplifications
• Editing existing and creating new texts for the Customer-Care section – FAQ’s, instructions etc.
• Translation of the section into from English to Czech and proofreading existing texts.
• Writing texts for installation CD with internet connection software.
• Translation of cartoons by American artist Ken Nash into Czech.
• User-opinion poll results analysis

Baron.cz

2006, www.baron.cz

Baron is one of our most comprehensive online pet supply stores. Thanks to the sincere interest of its owners, the Langer family, it offers personally tested products that are hard to find elsewhere. Our consultancy included:

• One-off consulting regarding search engine optimization – this aspect of the website suffered due to the complicated online shopping functions. The purpose was to instruct the client so that they could continue the process on their own throughout the site.

Schäfer Shop SSI, s.r.o.

Schäfer is one of the largest mail order companies, with a presence in 51 countries. In the Czech Republic it currently offers two ranges of products; office and warehouse supplies through www.schaefer-shop.cz and furniture and house decor through www.schaefer-boutique.cz. Both also offer products through printed catalogs. Our work continues to include:

• Banner campaigns for Seznam.cz – the major Czech search engine portal
• Selected graphic elements for the homepage
