Jim Freeman CV

After a career in landscape architecture, Jim came to the Czech Republic in January, 1993 to write. Actually, at that time it was still Czechoslovakia.

He’s the author of 3 novels, over 400 poems and 700 political articles. He actively participates in English literary evenings in Prague and at one time hosted the BeefStew Readings. His political and social commentary appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, International Herald-Tribune, CNN, The New York Review, Op-Ed News and various magazines.

He resides with his Prague-born wife in Prague and has long-term Czech residency.
